95% of web design is written language. This means that we need to pay extra careful attention to typography. We have to make it easy for our audience to process and understand information quickly.

This course will teach you how to present information on the screen for optimal legibility. You will also learn:

  • How people scan and read digital content
  • Use visual hierarchy to improve readability & increase comprehension
  • How to set and size type for multiple screen sizes
  • Optimal reading sizes for body copy, h1-h6, and p tags
  • Techniques for combining fonts
  • New possibilities with CSS3
